The 2022 Open17 Challenge on Climate Justice is now accepting applications. Take action to promote climate justice. Do you have any suggestions for tackling the problems with social justice or the environment brought on by climate change? Present your creative concept for a chance to win a reward.
You will get the opportunity to directly receive coaching from crowdsourcing professionals to help your ideas come to life and win weekly cash prizes.
Here Are The Prizes To Be Won If You Were Amongst The 24 Winners.
Each of the 24 prize winners will get $2,400 in cash, and the top 50 pitches will have the opportunity to enroll in an international coaching program. This curriculum teaches social innovation skills while transforming excellent ideas into worthwhile crowdsourcing projects.
At the Geneva Trialogue in Switzerland in March 2023, the top projects will have the opportunity to make an in-person presentation to United Nations experts and possible investors.

In the following areas of climate justice, according to UN experts, crowdsourced data is critically needed:
- gathering data on disadvantaged groups’ involvement in climate dialogue and decision-making.
- putting together information on government responsiveness and public services for climate resilience.
- recording the indigenous peoples’ and vulnerable communities’ access to environmental justice.
- assisting communities in need to get accurate environmental information and dispel rumors.
- monitoring how regional violence, migration, and resource scarcity, such as lack of access to clean water, are affected by climate change.
This project is financed by the European Commission, Yoma Operational Research, and Botnar Foundation including the Open17 Challenge on Climate Justice 2022.
